Broker's Comments
We have for sale a 1/12 share in this beautifully maintained Aquafibre/Broom 38. There are 12 owners in a syndicate, each of whom purchase an 8% shareholding. A shareholding entitles the owner to the use of their boat for a minimum of four weeks a year for the life of the boat. An AGM is held for each boating syndicate at a central location for owners to meet and socialise. At this AGM each member draws their four weeks. This will be a week Spring, a week in Summer, a week in Autumn and a week in the Winter. A keynote of the scheme is that you can swap your weeks with other owners. Unused weeks are available to fellow owners free of charge. Running costs are divided between shareholders, each paying 8%. These are actual costs. No profit whatsoever is made on running costs. Owners are charged an annual management fee for the administration of their syndicate. A re-sale service is available if you would like to sell your share after the first two years. If you would like any further information regarding the benefits of shared ownership and syndicate ownership then please do not hesitate in contacting us.This boat has been viewed and photographed by Boatshed Norfolk.
