Broker's Comments

Register with Boatshed to see 48 extra photos of this Auxilary Gaff Ketch 42 .
This Colin Archer type ketch exudes solidity yet her low coach roof gives her elegance. Built in 1990, she was thoroughly overhauled in 2003 for the Channel 4 documentary of a voyage along the Atlantic seaboard of the British Isles and the Faroes. Her current owner purchased her in 2005 and has undertaken an engine overhaul as well as stepping the masts for a complete inspection and maintenance programme.

She is impressively equipped and a very serious cruising yacht. Not surprisingly, she turns heads wherever she goes.

If you are in the market for a "classic" yacht then this is your opportunity to acquire a recently constructed and very well prepare ketch.

In the words of one her previous owners, the broadcaster, Adam Nicholson "She is the most beautiful thing I have ever owned".
