This late model Bayliner is all fiberglass with aluminum framed windows. The overall length with swim step and anchor pulpit is 39 feet. The cockpit is covered with a fiberglass hard top. Safety railings and the ladder to the flybridge are polished tubular stainless steel. A fiberglass radar arch carries the radar transceiver and antennas.

The engines are located towards the stern and are accessed through hatches in the cockpit as well as two hatches in the aft bulkhead of the aft cabin. Additional hatches in the deck are provided for access to the engine coolant header tanks.

All through hull fittings are bronze and electrically bonded. Rudders and struts are bronze with rubber strut bearings. Prop shafts are 1.5" stainless steel.

One enters the boat by stepping onto the wide swim step from the dock and passing through the transom door into the large cockpit area. The entire cockpit is enclosed in canvas and clear panels with a solid, permanently attached hardtop. The cockpit features storage lockers on both sides and a water basin to port. The stainless steel ladder to the flybridge is centered and the sliding companion way door to the main salon is to starboard.

The main salon features a large "L" shaped couch to port with a pair of round, overlapping and removable tables. Large windows are on all sides and the headroom in the salon is 6'10" for a very open and bright room. The main helm station is forward to starboard. At the aft end of the salon is a sliding hatch and stair down to the aft cabin which is located under the floor of the main salon.

The owner, who purchased this boat new, is a craftsman and has built in numerous additional storage cabinets, nooks and drawers utilizing otherwise unused space in the cabinetry structure of the boat. This is all very cleverly done so that the interior appears original but many of the previously fixed panels are now doors or drawers giving useful storage.

The aft cabin includes a cabinet with water basin and a large double bed. A long drawer has been built in under the salon floor and opening into the main salon for extra storage. The original foam mattress has been replaced with a queen size air mattress which provides for additional storage and is easily removable. The stairway down to the aft cabin folds up against the aft bulkhead for access to the engine access hatches located in that aft bulkhead.

The helm station includes the complete electrical control panel built into the starboard side and a custom pneumatic powered helm seat that can be adjusted in height by pushing a button. The helm station is well equipped with navigation and radio systems and has an unobstructed view through very large forward and side windows.

Forward of the main salon and down stairs is the galley to port and the head to starboard. Though down from the main salon level, the galley is very airy and bright under the very large forward and side windows. The Galley is "U" shaped with a gas range forward and a microwave installed above the counter. The galley sink is on the port side with additional counter and storage cabinets aft over the refrigerator.

The head includes a manual toilet, counter and water basin and a separate, enclosed shower with glass door. The door has been modified from the original to provide less intrusion into the head when opened. The door knob to the head has been replaced with a low profile handle sculpted from three coins to avoid snagging people walking past.

Forward of the galley through a door is the bow cabin with a large V berth with drawers in the center and storage under the mattress. The mattress on this boat has been divided on the center line to facilitate moving it aside to access storage and removal from cleaning or storage. A hanging locker is fitted against the aft bulkhead on the starboard side. Two water cooled reverse cycle heat and air conditioning systems are installed with the control unit for the forward unit placed on the side of the hanging locker. An opening skylight provides daylight and emergency exit for the bow cabin. The anchor windlass and chain locker is accessible through a hatch in the forward bulkhead.

From the cockpit, a stainless steel ladder reaches the flying bridge. A complete helm station with instruments and navigation is centered forward with extra seating on both sides of the flying bridge. The flying bridge has a placarded load limit of 700 pounds. The solid fiberglass hard top over the cockpit area provides substantial additional deck space on the flying bridge.
