I have to admit to being pleasantly suprised by this boat. I had a good freind who owned a Birchwood 22 and I was not a great fan of this particular boat.
I imagined the 25 to be more of the same..Not so, the Birchwood 25 is an entireley different boat, it is bright, roomy, and spacious and conveys the sense of being on a much larger vessel. It has good access all round making walking on and around the deck very safe.
Unlike the 22 the 25 has a shaft drive through a gearbox and rather impressive petrol engine.
This boat makes Broads Cruising a very comfortable and rewarding experience.
