It is not every day that you get to visit a vessel of this kind on the French inland waterways. But what a pleasure when you do. And if it was as pleasure to discover the vessel it was a revelation to meet her owners, a couple who are proving that you don’t have to buy a barge to enjoy the French canals and that once you’ve cruised through the vineyards, there’s nothing to stop you visiting the Mediteranean or the Black Sea.
