Broker's Comments

This boat has been viewed and photographed by Steven of Boatshed Falmouth. Register or log in to see 36 more photos of this boat. Developed from the Fairey hull, a Bruce Campbell Christina won the first Cowes-Torquay race with Tommy Sopwith at the helm. His boat was Thunderbolt. This boat is hull number 55. This boat is a slice of British power boat history. Now re-engined and re-engineered with a big V8 diesel, she is now a practical classic. You can't listen to the engine on this web site but believe me, a 6.5 litre V8 with straight through exhausts will get you noticed. The hull is designed for keeping the power on even in rough seas. This boat is in great condition and would be fine for weekending. Sure, you will need to be handy with a paint brush but I think this is a little price to pay for such a superb, fun boat.
