construction

GRP construction with Long keel underwater profile, paint finish
A hard chine GRP hull was built on a purpose made plug that is retained inside. The massively over-engineered lay up was custom made for blue water ocean sailing, using alternate layers of chopped strand matt and roving to create a hull thickness of 35+ mm. A core sample is on board which confirms the incredible strength evident throughout the boat. 6.5 tons of encapsulated ballast in the keel, gives a stiff and upright attitude. With her large tanks, (1800 lts fuel!!), she has a cruising range under engine of over 2000 miles. All treadmaster replaced, bottom repainted and antifouled April 2007.

Its hard to know where to begin with this boat. She is custom made to an incredible standard, having been commissioned by her current and only owner who is himself a highly regarded engineer. His input is evident throughout. No corner has been cut to put this boat together. To say she is well made and substantial is an understatement. She is well laid out, well equipped to go anywhere, clean and tidy with everything working. A serious cruising boat (or a comfortable live aboard). This is the epitome of the 'sell up and sail away' boat. The old expression "seen to be appreciated" definitely applies here.
