Hello and welcome. My name is Suzzanne McDonald and I am the broker for the medway area in kent. This is a well known maritime area and I really enjoy visiting all the local sailing clubs and yards in and around the medway area. I happen to live close to the upper reaches of the river and it is nice to derive a living from such a local landmark. My business is concerned with selling second hand boats and if you look at the boatshedmedway website you will see that there is a wide variety available at any particular time. Boatshedmedway has been running for nearly four years. Its been hard work but in that time the business has grown and it is now fairly well known within the local boating fraternity on the medway river.
The Medway area is close to the european mainland and I have found many of my customers arriving by air into the London airports or across the channel via the tunnel or ferries. Many of my recent sales have gone abroad and I have been delighted to stay in touch with people from St.Petersburg in Russia, Austria, Germany, Nigeria and Malta ..... to name but a few. Thus the boatshedmedway brokerage follows boatshed in that it is known at both local, national and international levels.
I have always had an interest in boating but to be frank, during my adult life, this interest has been spread against other matters including work and raising a family. Before starting the Boatshedmedway Brokerage I had a career in general business management and most recently I managed the development of a successful steelworks. I started the Boatshedmedway Yacht Brokerage as I saw it as an opportunity to use my business skills for something that I was passionate about. For me its not only about finding the right boat but its also about finding a boat for the right owner. Lets hope that 2012 will be an Olympic Year for boat sales.
