Few trawler designs have enjoyed the enduring appeal of the DeFever 44. The Defever 44 has proven over the years to be the most popular production design for any DeFever. This is not your typical double cabin trawler with an elevated cabin top over the aft stateroom. Rather, she's a rare flush deck design with single-level walk-around decks, a practical design that results in an attractive profile as well as generally improved accessibility. She is a heavy boat for her size and her full-displacement hull provides a particularly comfortable ride in a chop. Another great feature of this particular boat is her large engine room with with easy access.
