The combination of Dehler yachts as a builder and Van der Stadt as a designer produced one of the best production boats of its time. This boat though is in a class of her own, as she doesn’t have the austere interior of the production boats. In 2002 she had a £25,000 refit . The interior was redesigned and fitted out in teak, wheel steering was added, 5 coats of epoxy were applied to the hull as an anti osmosis protection and the hull was resprayed. The mast was replaced in 1998 and the rigging renewed in 2010.
The boat is owned by a professional yachtmaster instructor though she hasn’t been used commercially and is kept to a standard well above the normal. She has been competitively raced and cruised extensively performing well in both tasks.
