All seacocks are faired in, as is the keel. Last winter (2004) the hull was cleaned of all antifoul and West Epoxied. Inspection and scrub October 2005. The rudder has been professionally redesigned and deepened to provide extra grip.

The best description of this rare for the UK Elan 295 is a fast family cruising yacht, that is also exciting to sail on the racecourse. It has been meticulously looked after by the current owner, with no expense spared. It has been cruised across the channel and raced very succesfully in the solent. All the necessary deck gear has been upgraded for racing. The interior is in excellent condition wih generous accomodation. Hopefully the photos will do justice to the condition and upkeep of this lovely boat.
