The Formula 280 Sun Sport is a deluxe daycruiser for those who want a boat that's long on cockpit space, handling qualities and workmanship. By any standard, the 280 is a handsome boat and her wraparound windshield only adds to her sportboat appeal. With seating for eight, the cockpit is definitely the star attraction for the Sun Sport. Aside from the big U-shaped lounge aft, there's a double-wide seat at the helm and a settee opposite. The on-deck galley makes a lot of sense on a boat like this, and there are many cockpit areas including fender storage under the settee. A walk-thru windshield provides foredeck access, and the engine compartment (under the sunpad) is reached via a motorized hatch lift. Below decks, the V-shaped dinette converts into a double berth and an enclosed head provides privacy. Twin Mercruiser 5.0 MPI (260 hp) provide cruising well into the 30s, and a top speed of 55 MPH.These boat details are subject to contract.
