The larch planking on oak frames and just shear solid feel of a proper boat leave you in awe of the craftsmanship that went in to boats in the early 1900’s.
When you go down into the saloon with its old wood smell mixed with the solid fuel stove gives the feeling that you have been transported back in time, you just want to stay and it makes your imagination active about the sea voyages you could have on her and the ones which she has been on.
The berths are wide and long so very comfortable and she has mod cons so that you can feel comfortable and don’t miss modern times too much. She has been cherished and there is nothing to do, she is completely restored and maintained to a high standard, so the notion of a high maintenance classic doesn’t exist with her if you keep on top of the general maintenance.
