construction

GRP construction with Planing underwater profile, gelcoat finish
Grady-White pioneered the walkaround in 1975. The resin in each part of this boat is metered, measured and entered into the computer system so every part's optimal glass-to-resin ratio is consistent and correct. This precision adds to your boat's lasting value. Its tried and proven stringer systems are consistently strong, light, and phenomenally durable, carry a limited lifetime warranty. Plus, in a Grady-White, sprayed-in foam between the stringers acts as spreaders between the structural beams for added strength.

This 2004 has the new hull technology Grady White engineered in 1998. The SeaV2 hull (continuosely variable V-hull) design has no two places on the keel where the deadrise is the same. The vee continuously sharpens from the transom to the bow stem. The 20 degrees of deadrise at the transom of this boat will have around 30 degrees amidships. The deeper vee forward means a softer ride at sea. Less vee at the transom along with wide chines provides stability at rest and when trolling. Its hull slices through seas effortlessly with a sharp point of entry, and the varying deadrise builds buoyancy that lifts the boat as it proceeds through waves, resulting in better performance and fuel efficiancy. The series of wedges on this hull have tremendous righting force giving incredible tracking, even in quartering seas and especially in following seas.
All the Hardware on this boat is a high grade 316 Stainless Steel. That is apparent because all the through-hull fittings, cleats, cabinet latches and hinges, look new.

The cockpit deck is completely sealed, so you can wash down this boat and everything leaves the boat through the large scuppers. This way, you're not draining all your residue into the bilge where it is never completely pumped out, and you don't have to worry about your boat filling up with water after a rainy day or a large wave braking over the gunwale.

This vessel also has raised fish boxes which are easier to access than those in the cockpit floor. They also drain ice and fish residue directly overboard through stainless steel through-hull fittins for each well by gravity. Full deck is a non slip surface for better balance on rough days.

This first class Grady has been professionally kept and maintained at a private marina. The vessel is on the wash and service plan, so she is washed after every use and rinsed off every week. This boat has approx. 650 hrs, so it does get used regularly and all maintenance and service records are available. The finish on the hull, deck and inside walls looks brand new. This Grady is the cleanest 4 year old boat I've seen yet. The only scratches I found were a couple on the engine cowlings caused on dry rack, not too serious, I have photos of them if you are interested to see.

All in all, a spectacular boat with an outstanding name and solid built reputation. Because Grady White has been family owned and operated since 1968, and the quality workmanship, fit, and finish on this boat, shows their commitment to be the best, is why Grady White has one of the best re-sale values in the industry. DON"T FORGET TO LOOK AT THE MANY DETAILED PHOTOS OF THIS GRADY WHITE TO SEE FOR YOURSELF.
