Broker's Comments

Preliminary Details: awaiting confirmation by owner. This traditional, long keel yacht is currently being tidied up by its boatbuilder owner. She is awaiting the hull to be sprayed, a new Yanmar 10 hp diesel engine to be fitted and a new cooker to be installed. When I visited the yacht, the sails were in storage and not with the boat but the main sail was new in 2004. The dinghy was also in storage elsewhere but will be included in the sale of the yacht. It’s outboard has only had 10 hours use ! The saloon headroom has been increased to 6’ 4” by lowering the cabin floor. The aft deck has been altered to make it level with the side decks, rather than the normal step arrangement. The cockpit and companionway wood work has all been expertly renewed with iroko. To improve access to the saloon. the normal vertical sliding hatch covers have been replaced with twin opening doors and a horizontal sliding hatch. The windlass is a 700 watt electric Lofrans making for easy anchor work. The additional work carried out by the present owner is to a high quality and has made the yacht very user-friendly. The current owner has sailed her single handed from Gibraltar to Cornwall. This is a well cared for yacht with a proven sailing record.
