These Ted Hood designed yachts have a near legendary status amongst cruising sailors, 179 were built between 1978 and 1989, with a displacment of 22,046 lbs, 50% ballast ratio and a lifting keel they are equaly at home offshore or exploring creeks, ( take a look at the pictures of the core samples, they don't build them like that anymore ), this one was previously owned by a small craft marine surveyor and it shows. Refitted in 1998 in the USA and again in 2005 & 2007 in Thailand, the owner is only selling because he has two boats and wants one larger boat. She does require some work before resuming her voyaging and we have the major recommendations from a recent survey available for serious buyers.
