Trailer sailers make a lot of sense. They extend your cruising ground as far as you want to tow it. You save on mooring fees and maintenance. And not leaving it in that nasty dirty water all the time means that it stays shinier for longer. Here’s a very shiny example, nicely tucked up under cover, and offered for sale complete with her purpose-designed road trailer. The good news is that she was made (and factory-finished) by Hunter Boats, so she’s a proven design, well-constructed and well-made. This specimen is in fine condition and is carefully looked after. Handling is a doddle, with her self-tacking jib and all sail-control lines led back to the coach-roof. The jib furls and the main drops into a smart stack-pack. The Honda four-stroke 4hp engine has had remote controls fitted in the cockpit. She has been recently re-upholstered and feels just right in the cabin. There is a chemical toilet forward and a two-burner gas hob concealed under the companionway, so she has the essentials required for an extended trip. If you’re looking for a capable and modern-looking trailer sailer at a modest cost, then this one’s for you. These boat details are subject to contract.
