Broker's Comments

The Hunter 27 enjoys a good reputation with those that know them as an easily sailed and forgiving yacht, suitable for beginners as well as the more experienced. She has a light and responsive helm which has an advantage not only when maneuvering in the marina, but also when out on open water. The self tacking jib and aft led lines add to the boats desirability for the solo or short handed sailor. She is best reefed early, but that is easy to do. The hull is tough and light, a good combination for heavy weather sailing, whilst keeping excellent windward properties and a comfortable ride. She can return impressive speed as well, when required. Her simple and effective interior is immaculate, original and very clean, good to see a boat which has not had any 'owner improvements'. On balance as close to a perfect 27 footer yet made.
