Broker's Comments

The Hurley 24 is one of those yachts that begs the question "why can't they build them like this today?" The answer is, no-one can afford to! A new boat built to this standard today, in a British yard, would cost in excess of £35,000. A similar sized yacht from an East European factory unit will still be priced in the high £20k's.
Hurleys are well designed and strongly built "bomb proof" pocket cruisers which will still be around when all the cheap foreign imports have gone to Davey Jones's locker!
This one is presented in a clean and tidy condition with a new engine installation and newly rewired. There is still scope to add some electronics of choice and a new owner would probably want to add roller reefing to the foresail. That said, she is an attractive bilge keeled yacht and serious offers will be considered.
