James Silver cruisers are often considered as the pick of the crop for classic cruisers although to be fair this one does need a lot of attention. The present owner has done little maintenance for five years and she is now at project status although when refurbished will make an excellent live aboard cruiser. She is presently on the hard having been hauled out for inspection and she needs in the order of eleven new planks below the waterline before she is watertight. The topsides and superstructure will also require work in places. She is probably best suited to someone with the skills and time to work on her personally.
The twin diesels are both in working order. Although she needs a lot more than TLC she can still be restored to her former glory when she was regularly used as a cross channel cruier.
