construction

Wood carvel construction with Long keel underwater profile, paint finish
The long keel has a bronze centre plate within that increases the draft from 3ft 8" to 6ft 3".
The Wood Carvel hull has oak frames with teak planking below the waterline and mahogany planking above the wareline. Fastened with bronze fastenings.
The decks are canvas sheathed with no slip paint; the decks were re-sheathed in 2006.
