Broker's Comments

This yacht represents a fine piece of marine heritage from the 1950's, being typocal of what was being produced by many yards for club racing enthusiasts in the post war era, Morgan Giles developed the "West channel" Class along the lines of a "Quay Punt" but in reality she is a shortended racing yacht. Her long waterline length, narrow beam, dep underwater profile all combine to make her a startling, vice free sailing machine.
Apart from the new engine the yacht is totally original and a credit to her 3 previous owners (one for 40 years). With its elegant lines, simplicity of construction and sailing performance she is a credit to her designer.
Currently in a "winter" state, I will update the pictures as the weather warms and season approaches.
