Stand down, Kim and Aggie, Gok’s been here! This yacht has had a make-over. When I first photographed her, it was impossible to avoid drawing attention to how sad and unloved she looked. That’s all changed, and in spectacular style. The exterior woodwork has been completely repaired and finished, and she’s had a really good clean throughout. The good news is, the price is the same, so now she’s better value than ever. Once upon a time, all proper yachts looked like the Nic 26. With her long deep keel and full-length keel-hung rudder; her deep, safe cockpit and cosy berths, she is a small yacht with an impeccable design pedigree. Nothing flash about her, but there is a timeless elegance apparent in her lines and a reputation for dependable sea-keeping that makes Nic owners fanatics about the marque. A classic yacht, for all her diminutive size.
