Volvo Penta D2-40 neuf en 2008. Bonne isolation phonique, très accessible pour l’entretien quotidien et interventions éventuelles. Les fonds de cale sèches et propres. Deux batteries domestiques, une autre pour le démarrage, le tout chargé par alternateur et prise de quai. 220v par prise de quai ou petit convertisseur 300w. Simple mais efficace pour les croisières sans souci en eaux intérieures.

Volvo Penta D2-40 new in 2008, well insulated yet accessible installation. Clean & dry bilges. Two domestic batteries, one starting battery, all charged by shore power and alternator. Portable 300 w converter. All you need for simple but enjoyable cruising on the inland waterways.

Fabriqué en 1996 par le chantier Nicols pour sa flotte de bateaux de location. Construction solide et conception astucieux et sans complication. L'aménagement de “plein pied” facilite d’avantage la vie à bord et le fly bridge avec pilotage extérieur est la cerise sur le gâteau.

Constructed in 1996 by Nicols for their hire fleet and retired after the 2009 season. Solid GRP construction with optimum use of space and ease of access for maintenance a priority. A big plus is the fact that the entire boat is almost all on the same level with the panoramic sliding patio doors opening straight out onto the aft deck for convivial entertaining. Fly bridge steering and seating accessed via a ladder from the aft deck

Lumineux, spacieux et convivial avec un grand salon qui donne directement sur la plage arrière en passant par de grandes baies vitrées. Le concept Sedan de Nicols est une grande réussite avec une utilisation de l’espace très astucieuse. Cabine avant avec lit double central et accès direct à la salle d’eau. Deux autres cabines (une avec douche, wc privatif) pleine hauteur sous barrot à l’entrée et des lits “cercueil” double en arrière plan. Le fly bridge avec son poste de pilotage et la cerise sur le gâteau.

Light bright living accommodation Forward cabin with island double and direct access to WC shower which also serves as day head when accessed by another door from the saloon corridor. Two more double cabins (one with own shower and WC) both with standing head room at the access but coffin type double beds extending under saloon.

Lumineux et spacieux avec trois lits doubles dans trois cabines et deux salles d’eau avec WC et douche. Le tout, sur 10m de long et “plein pied”. C’est le pied! Simple et efficace pour les croisières en eaux intérieures, ce Nicols a connu quelques touches bien valorisantes entre les mains de ses propriétaires privés. Une excellente proposition pour les croisières prolongées (j’en connais quelques uns qui s'en servent même, de façon très convenable, de bateau logement). Ce Nicols 1000 est à vendre parce que ses propriétaires cherchent un bateau encore plus grand.

An impressive use of space on this canal and river cruiser. Bright airy living accommodation and lots of storage space. Easy access for maintenence. Easy access and freedom of movement thanks to the “all on one level” Sedan layout. These Nicols cruisers are a very interesting proposition for anyone tired of going up and down stairs all day. This particular example has had some nice personal touches added since being retired into private hands and is now for sale because her owners are upgrading.
