Built by Paynters in St. Ives, she hasn't gone far in 94 years and is now lying in Falmouth.
The 1994 resoration was very thorough and latterly, when the centre case box was renewed in 2003, she was fully inspected and given a clean bill of health.
She is now in need of a new owner who will take her in hand, sort out her bright work, running rigging, perhaps fit her out with a new suit of sails and give her hull & deck a fresh coat of paint.
She is unique and the owner has a well researched folder on her history.
The owner is looking more for the next custodian rather than an unrealistic price, hence the asking price is open to reasonable offers.
At Boatshed Falmouth, I am delighted to be asked, more and more, to help sell classic wooden yachts. It is a specialised market but Falmouth has a depth of skills & enthusiasm available to help keep these lovely boats in full sailing condition.
I am happy to provide high resolution photos on a CD - just call me and I will mail it to you.
