The Profile 33 is a solidly-built displacement cruiser. Powered by twin diesels driving props on shafts, she’s a sea-worthy design in which you can have confidence. Accommodation is good, with a large and deep cockpit that would be eminently suitable for fishing. The cockpit is also notable for its several large lockers and access via the cockpit sole to a cavernous additional storage area. Large twin sliding doors give access to the wheelhouse, from which the helmsman has excellent all round visibility, courtesy of the generous glazing. Moving forward and down a couple of steps, we come to the saloon with a dinette (and heads) to port, and a sensible galley to starboard. The dinette converts to a double berth and there is a further generous double in the fore-cabin. You will see from the photos that there is room for some work, particularly in the woodwork and furnishings department, but the price reflects that. What she needs most of all is a little TLC to restore her to her former glory.
