Built to a very high standard with hand laid up solid fiberglass with isophthalic resin below the waterline. Integral water tanks in the keels provide a double skin, buoyancy compartments fore and aft, combined with the sandwich construction and wood furniture help make the Escale unsinkable. A lovely boat with loads of space and equipement. She has been extensivley re-furbished in the last few months with £40,000 worth of new equipment and work carried out on her. Photographs, analysis and comments by Michael Delbridge of Boatshed Hamble.
