Broker's Comments

Rampart is a name synonymous with quality wooden boats. The Desty family were building Gentleman’s TSDY’s near Southampton until about 25 years ago. This boat is one of their last. She has been in the same ownership most of her life and has spent many years on the rivers and canals of France. She lends herself to long lazy days drinking fine wine and exploring hidden areas perfectly.

There is plenty of space inside and the cabins are well laid out. There is a real feel of separate areas to the boat, as there is seating in the upper saloon, close to the galley and up on deck. There are also lots of storage compartments, with the area around the engines almost big enough to convert into another cabin.

This boat does need some attention, as all wooden boats do, especially to the coach roof. The survey in general is very positive. This boat has the potential to be a wonderful craft that can be enjoyed for another thirty years. She has to be sold so all offers will be considered.

This boat has been viewed and photographed by Miles Booker of Boatshed Sussex. Register or log in to see 43 more photos of this boat. These boat details are subject to contract.

Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
