The Rival 38 is rightly regarded as a proper blue water cruising yacht.
Examples of this fine vessel can be found all over the world and this could be the one you are looking for if you have the urge to sail south until the butter melts - though this is not mandatory as she has got a fridge!
She appears to be well found, in reasonable order for her age and benefits from a recent 2002 survey.
Well equipped for local voyaging, she would not take much to upgrade to ocean ready; if that's where the dream takes you!
