Charming, warm, friendly, courageous…these are usually words to describe a person, but I must admit, this boat has a personality that not only lives up to these words, but also defines them. From the spacious cockpit to the flat “easy view” deck this S2 screams sail me…and sail me now! Outside of a quick wash down she is ready to go.
She was built to weather the storm and high winds with little sideways drifting, and the crank down fin keel off of the 1,100 pound long keel helps make that possible. Drafting only 2 feet, she is easily trailer-able and great for stopping very, very close to the beach (not to mention fantastic for keeping her in up river marinas where the water level are a little low). What I find hard to believe is that she was built in 1976 and her interior still looks and smells fresh and clean almost like new. The owner has taken care of her in the finest ways, and once you visit this gem, you’ll fall in love almost immediately.
