Fold-down fiberglass mast perfect for the Great Loop or other routes where bridges are impediments. The Schucker 430, 436, and 437 have identical hulls, but different layouts.

The Schucker 430 has a good sized cockpit and wide walkarounds for easy access to the foredeck. The pilothouse has doors on the port and starboard side, plus the aft door into the cockpit. Overall, the exterior appears very well kept.

Six ways to heat the boat - two reverse cycle units, diesel Dickinson Newport Heater in pilothouse, Force 10 propane in saloon, two Red Dot heaters.

The pilothouse has opposing bench seating - the starboard side converts to a double bed. There is a fixed helm seat to starboard and a chart table to port. Down and forward of the pilothouse is the main cabin. The U-shaped galley is to starboard composed of a propane cooktop, AC refrigerator, 12V Adler-Barbour built-in top loading fridge/freezer,
custom dual stainless sink with solar vent above. Opposite the galley is a large hanging locker, storage, and bench seating. The master berth is a convertible dinette on the starboard side of the main cabin. The head and shower stall are in the forepeak.

This spacious layout and bright pilothouse are great features for sailors that want to live-aboard.
