They say you never get a second chance at a first impression. My first impression of this "Southerly Blue" hulled 110 was, "Wow! Ten knots at the dock!" On a closer look she became even more impressive. The fit, finish and attention to detail are second to none on this boat. There really isn't enough space in here for me to list all of her attributes, so I will highlight a few and let you come see the rest for yourself.
THE SWING KEEL DESIGN:
A hydraulically operated keel pivots up and down with the push of a button at the helm station. Or you can lift it by hand pump below decks. This feature allows this boat to go places no other boat of it's size can dream of going. Imagine stepping off the bow of your 35 foot sailboat onto dry land or no longer worrying if you can get into that marina with the really good restaurant! Grouper Sandwiches anyone? Don't worry about the prop. It is protected too!
BLUE WATER CAPABLE: Don't let the swing keel fool you. This boat is all business when it comes to Blue Water cruising. She is just as capable on the oceans as she is in the bays.
She can be comfortably steered from the nav station in the event of wet or cold weather.
FAST & MANEUVERABLE:
Cruise in comfort? You bet she can but getting there fast is even more fun!
SEAKEEPING AND DOCKING:
Beefy, well placed stainless steel hardware makes this boat a breeze to dock. All sail controls lead aft to the cockpit. This combined with the roll furling jib, lazy jacks and "Stack pack" makes this boat so easy to sail a caveman could do it!
This boat was commissioned in 2004 as a showboat for the Southerly Yachts dealer so you can bet she is loaded with all the good stuff! Come see this beautiful lady today and sail away tomorrow!
