We need to be pretty clear here about what this boat is not. If you're looking for a lightweight plastic cruiser for large family weekends on the Solent, then she's not for you. If, on the other hand, you're part of a couple or a very small team with your eye on a trans-Atlantic passage and a live-aboard lifestyle then you may just have found what you're looking for. This 47' steel long keel and skeg, cutter-rigged pilot-house sloop has not long returned to the UK with her current owners, after looking after them through many a blue-water cruise. Designed on the belts and braces principle(hull construction and standing rigging arrangements are particularly impressive) she's tough, durable and reassuringly solid as only a steel-hulled boat can be. She has a powerful rig matched with long-legged sea-kindly motion that will munch the miles. When you arrive at your destination she'll act as your home-from-home with two double berth sleeping cabins and a galley bigger than many modern kitchens. She comes equipped with a comprehensive inventory, and with many extras available for those with a particular eye on the Americas. These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
