"The sum of the parts is greater than the whole". How did I arrive at that conclusion? Having spoken to the owner, I took a new crayon from the tin (I'm not allowed anything sharp!) and a fresh sheet of paper and added up the cost of the engine, leg and trailer. The total sum is more than the asking price.
