Broker's Comments

Register with Boatshed to see 38 extra photos of this Westerly GK24 .
The GK 24 was a radical departure from Westerly's usual cruising orientated offerings when introduced in 1976. A quarter tonner, the GK 24 was designed as a competitive club racer which might appeal to a wide range of yachtsmen . She found ready acceptance and a good deal of success in this guise and also, when fitted out to 'club racer' spec, proved a popular fast cruiser for occasional 'round the cans' events. Our example lacks some of the home comforts expected of a cruiser and she has seen some regular racing locally, but a keen owner will either race her as she is or soon bring her up to standard for some summer cruising; whatever takes your fancy. A recent motor and some good sails, not to mention a substantial road trailer, add up to quite a package. These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
