This is a traditional boat – but she is relatively newly built and has all mod cons. Inside, she’s spacious, stylish and homely. The standard of fit-out is extremely high, with lots of solid oak and top quality components throughout. Step aboard and you enter the galley, which opens out into the large saloon. Large portholes throughout the length of the boat give plenty of light and the warmth is provided by Webasto diesel heating and a traditional multi-fuel stove.
Further forward is the bathroom, complete with Victorian roll-top bath and shower unit. The master cabin, with double doors opening out onto the foredeck, is fully fitted with solid oak shelving, wardrobes, storage bed base and optic fibre constellation panel in the ceiling, showing Orion’s Belt.
The boat is pristine throughout – even the engine.
Whilst she seems very much ‘at home’ on her mooring, this houseboat is the perfect river cruiser – economical to run and easy to handle – there’s a bowthruster to help get you in and out of tight spaces.
The boat can be kept on her current mooring, which is quiet and secure (gated entry and all-round CCTV coverage). The marina has pump out, broadband, telephone, TV, water and electricity. There's easy access to Central London and also good links to the motorway, rail and air networks.
