She was constructed from South American Cedar,(said to be harder than its North American equivalent), on South
American Oak, just to make sure she survived the harsh South Atlantic storms. Each frame was braced to the keel with bronze floors and diagonal bronze strapping that survives to this day, proving not just practical but aesthetically pleasing. She has completed three Atlantic crossings, the last being in 2007 when she was delivered from Argentina to Croatia where she now lies.
All of her fittings are original. Her 6 winches are bronze with bronze handles, bronze turn buckles for the stays and 3 copper funnels on the coach roof. All electrics were overhauled in May 2008, including 3 new batteries and shore power connection.
She has already been reduced from 45000 to 35000 Euros but all serious offers will be considered by the owner.
