This delightful 24ft wooden gentleman’s cruiser was designed and built by William Osbourne of Littlehampton in 1946.
She’s just right for pottering up and down the Thames or along the canals and should give a lucky new owner many hours of weekend pleasure – in fact, she wouldn’t look out of place at Henley next summer. Although the paintwork needs touching up in places, she’s ready to go.
The construction is double-diagonal mahogany hull, wooden deck and superstructure. The underwater configuration is round bilge with a long keel, single screw and skeg-supported rudder. She had an underwater body survey in 2008. In 2009 she had an engine service and a re-wiring of the electrics. New hand made fleece seating, cushions and curtains were fitted in 2009. There's a decent sized cockpit for soaking up the sun or for back seat driving!
