The C&C 35 was a product of C&C Yachts of Ontario, based on an original design called the Redwing by Canadian designers George Cuthbertson and George Cassian. First introduced in 1969 the MK1 boats ran in production until 1973 and were regarded as good performers with the MK1 performing especially well in light airs. This model was built in the UK by Anstey Yachts and stepping aboard it is hard to imagine that the boat dates from the 1970’s. The layout is airy and light and much more spacious and up to date in appearance than many of her counterparts of the same era. The current owners have spent considerable amounts of money over the years and I am in possession of three files of documentation to support this. Where any defects are known they have been declared in the specification and the asking price has been adjusted accordingly. This includes some deck refurbishment and some stanchion post fixings. Sure there are some areas that need attention but for a great looking yacht with classic lines, good sailing performance and priced under £20,000 this yacht is worthy of a second look – I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. If you do not know the C&C please request a review by emailing me directly and I’ll be pleased to forward the review I have on file.
