What a delightful slice of nostalgia I experienced whilst photographing this little beauty! I didn't think that anyone built small vessels with such care and craftsmanship this side of 1950. She is redolent of a bye-gone era when quality counted and the pace of life was slower, and of course, the sun always shone on the river! Floaty summer dresses, straw hats, picnic hampers - that what she's about. A true gentleman's launch for lazy summer days and a refreshing change from all the 'go-faster' French and American plastic clones that we see so much of these days.
