This Dockrell 27 offers very traditional lines with decent accommodation.
In fact, she is a traditional long keel yacht, based on the Hurley 27. However, she has a novel keel with a widely flared base, allowing the yacht to dry out in an upright postion.
The interior is in very good order and there are lots of well thought out details. The new owner may wish to renew some of the instruments, as these are becoming a little dated.
She is cutter rigged with a self tacking staysail. This is an ideal cruising set up as it gives plenty of sail combinations to suit all weathers.
I definately recommend this yacht to someone looking for a short handed sailing boat or as a superb first yacht for a family.
