Here is a unique opportunity to own a famous racing legend, once reputed to be the fastest of the one tonners. She started life as Local Hero and went through several rebuilds and alterations to keep up with the changing racing rules. She has always been exceptionally well cared for and kept up to date regardless of cost. Throughout her racing life she has been mostly dry sailed. In 2007 she was fitted out for cruising and at this time her rig was shortened to do away with running backstays and the necessity for a large racing team. Whilst by cruising standards she would be described as somewhat spartan in her accomodation she has everything you need to live aboard for holidays or longer, and you'll certainly get there fast! To all intents and purposes she is like a two or three year old yacht - must be seen to be believed.
