The original Yanmar is now a box of bits which come with the boat and could be rebuilt but it's probably easier to acquire an alternative. There is also another Yanmar also in bits which the owner was going to rebuild but has not had the time.

Probably the best deal you will find to acquire a Trapper 500. Well built and quite fast these make excellent cruisers and are up to a bit of racing too.
This one needs an engine and some TLC to the cosmetics and she will be a super boat. She is being sailed at the moment with the assistance of an outboard on a bracket to help her on and off the berth - the bracket is included , the outboard not.
There is a yard cradle which is also available by negotiation. She will be taken on to the hard for winter storage in September.
