I am pleased to announce much needed help is on hand at last, The past 18 months have been very challenging due to the increase in Boat listings and sales. We normally get busy periods throughout the year but the last year has been constant with increased sales and listings year on year. As a result I will be getting help from Howard (Howie) Daniels an old friend who is very enthusiastic about joining Boatshed and is keen to get started. Howie can be contacted on 07955 704862. He has owned boats since an early age and is equally passionate for both sail and motor. having Howie as part of the team will mean we can be more flexible with respect to arranging viewings around our customers needs. Choosing the right person to work with is essential as we need someone who shares our commitment and I have no doubts whatsoever he will be a great asset to the business.

Bidding has just begun for the July 2016 Boatbid!
Another thing we are committed to at Boatshed is reducing the costs of boat ownership for our customers. Boat buyers will, typically, spend about 20% of the price of a boat on necessary equipment, products and services within the first 12 months of ownership. This expenditure can be considerable and is often overlooked by other brokers. Our Preferred Partners Scheme is aimed at reducing this expenditure and thereby the overall cost of boat ownership for Boatshed customers.
We want our customers to feel valued, informed and, well…… loved. Instead of us keeping all the useful information about boat sales to ourselves, we have developed some tools to allow our customers to keep themselves informed whilst selling a boat and when looking for a new boat.
BoatBid enables the boat buyer to bid with the confidence that any boat can be surveyed and sea trialed before you make the decision to purchase. The transaction is handled by one of Boatshed's brokers.
At Boatshed we are always thinking of ways to help people sell their boats more efficiently and providing a better service to both seller and purchaser.
If you fancy a dip in the sea at Christmas, you are either brave/daft or raising money for charity – after all who would want to leave the comfort of their over warm homes to jump into icy waters if it wasn’t for charity!?
With all the talk of tinsel and turkey about to begin, we must not forget that enjoying time on the water happens whatever the weather.
