Boatshed London are delighted to offer this 15m Lighter Barge houseboat for sale with London mooring.
Built in the 1950's as a coal barge, this boat has been recently renovated inside and out and now being sold as a beautiful houseboat in one of London's best marinas. The boat has a large saloon and galley, a bathroom with shower compartment and electric heads and a good sized bedroom with double bed and fitted storage.
The wheelhouse and engine room offer a bit of extra storage space and the high level of upkeep is evident from the mechanical and electrical equipment which is all professionally installed and well looked after.
The boat is fitted with a multi fuel stove that has a back boiler for the radiators and an electric immersion heater for the hot water.
The residential mooring at South Dock is fully transferable (10% transfer fee) and gives you access to a marina that has a waiting list of over 450. It's a very well run marina in a beautifully quiet spot with good transport links. Current mooring fees are £7,719 per annum. There is a pump out facility, laundry and shower block on the site.
