Saturday the 3rd of May saw Boatshed Norfolk at the Horning Boat show. The event was launched last year and proved to be popular so we decided to ensure Boatshed had a presence this year.
The show is a one day event which saw many of the big names in the industry attend.
In order to project the right image we had to invest in quality advertising, display boards, roll up banners etc.
We even brought along a little electric slipper launch which attracted an amazing amount of attention and helped draw people to the stand.
We had 500 colour booklets printed showing our full stock list which we handed out to everyone who came on to or near our stand!
The 3 of us were kept busy all day (Will, Keith and myself) and we came away having booked several viewings and over £200k of listings.
As Will says, we only need to sell one of the listed boats and the cost of putting on the show has been repaid.
Thanks to Suzanne from Boatshed who came over for the day and had advised us prior to the show on how it should be done as she is expert on putting on a good show !!
All in all a great day and certainly well worth doing.
