Broker's Comments
Boatshed Norfolk are pleased to offer this Tidy Calypso 28 cruiser. She is well presented (topsides just repainted) and offers good accommodation for a couple or small family and would make an ideal first river cruiser on the Broads.
These are very popular boats that have a lot to offer with good sized front and rear decks and this one also has push pit and pull pit rails which is a nice feature.
She has wide, safe walk-around side decks. The layout is standard Calypso with a large full width double aft with large wardrobe / hanging locker to port and a well equipped heads and shower to starboard.
Moving forward there is a good sized galley to port with full sized cooker and a Waeco fridge and ample work space and storage. To starboard is the convertible dinette seating and the comfortable helm station is to port.
A large sliding hatch in the roof opens up on nice days and her large wrap around windows give excellent views out. Two TVs are fitted.
She has full shore power fitted and also a small solar panel fitted but this is not connected up. Her engine appears to run very nicely indeed and has had a new lift pump and injectors reconditioned and this shows in how well she ran. The rear rubbing strake could, to my eye, do with minor repair or replacement at some point but this is a very minor issue.
Her Broads toll is paid for this year and her Boat Safety Certificate runs to 2025.
This would make an ideal first boat and her mooring may be available by separate agreement with the land owner.
