Twin Ford 122E engines , Petrol engines, that have been removed and refurbished by a local marine engineer. The owner has provided the make of the engines, however they are not marked and according to the Freeman website I think they may be WaterMota Sea Tiger Mk1 1500cc. But the jury is out. Having said that they do start up nicely.

Freeman 26 is a classic River cruiser built from 1965 to 1968. Each boat was individually made, sometimes to owners particular specifications. The hull on this vessel looks very smart and she has been lovingly restored by her current owners.

The accommodation is fantastic. At this price you can comfortably take a family of four on holiday. The joinery gleams and provides a really pleasant, nostalgic ambience. The Canopy was renewed 2012
Woodwork in cabin and cockpit have all been beautifully restored.
The Windows, deck fittings, horn, spotlight – all original and have been rechromed
New cushions too! The dinette cleverly converts to a nice double berth. Moving forward there is a v-shaped additional saloon area which also has an infill and can convert either to a double or be used as a twin berth. Note also that the cockpit seat pulls out and can be used as a sun lounger or an additional double berth in fine weather.

A much loved classic River and Estuary cruiser that has been lovingly restored. She has quite a history – She was used to ferry HRH Prince Philip when he opened Grafham Water. There is a commemorative plaque to mark this event taking place. This is an ideal vessel for family cruising for a great price. Video to follow.
