Broker's Comments
Boatshed Grand Union is pleased to offer this 40ft cruiser stren narrowboat for sale.
The owners have finally decided to hang up their lock keys and sell as she hasn't been used as much as she deserves. This is an opportunity for a new start. With some updating and a lick of paint you could get afloat with little investment.
BSS - Current until September 2022
Blacking - Premium black bituminous paint in July 2011 by Uxbridge Boat Centre. She was also repainted at the same time by Marriage Joinery

Owners FAQ's
How long have you owned the boat for?
She was bought in 1999 as a retirement pastime.
Why are you selling her?
After many happy years of cruising the owner moved on to cruise the great waterways of the next life. The family had hoped to continue using her, but life continually got in the way and have taken the hard decision that it would be better that she is enjoyed by another family than waiting in hope.
Where have you sailed her?
She has spent most of her time on the Grand Union before exploring further afield with several years moored at Hillmorton on the Oxford Canal and then she moved to Hinckley Marina on the Ashby Canal. She was then moored at the end of the garden of a relative in Rickmansworth until they sold up and she moved back to Tring.
