Broker's Comments
In her former life this little ship was a fleet tender – a naval general dogsbody, running around acting as a supply vessel and crew ferry to Royal Navy warships. More recently she has been a Sea Cadet training ship, providing adventurous training to young people. Her accommodation, laid out in three cabins, lent itself to that role, permitting segregated accommodation forward and mid-ships for cadets of both sexes, and slightly plusher arrangements aft for the Officer Corps. Currently, she is crewed and maintained by a band of naval enthusiasts, who are looking for something a little more modern. A large number of these vessels were built and many have found new lives as live-aboards and dive boats. Powered by a single 225 HP four-cylinder diesel engine the size of a Mini Clubman, she is solid, seaworthy, and remarkably economical on fuel, given her size and bulk.
